A brand new free word search puzzle every single day, and every one has a theme. Big cats on Monday, the creatures of the reef on Tuesday, whatever is rustling around your bird feeder the day after. Ten words to find, two hidden bonus species, and a streak to keep going.

How to Play
Words run in every direction: across, down, diagonally, and backwards. There are three ways to grab one, so use whichever suits the device in your hand.
- Drag across the letters: press on the first letter and pull to the last one. You do not have to be precise, the selection snaps to the nearest straight line.
- Or tap twice: tap the first letter, then tap the last. Much easier than dragging on a phone.
- Or use the keyboard: arrow keys to move around the grid, Enter to mark the first letter and Enter again on the last.
- Hunt the bonus species: two extra creatures are hidden in every grid but deliberately left off the word list. Find one and you earn an extra hint.
- Spend your hints: you earn one for every four words you find. A hint lights up the first letter of a word you have not spotted yet.
- Build a streak: finish the puzzle each day and your streak grows. Share your result when you are done, and the grid you share gives nothing away.
Sound and letter size are up to you, and both remember what you chose. Missed a day? The Previous link walks back through the archive.
Why Play?
It is a few quiet minutes with something that is not a feed. You will meet animals and plants you have never heard of, and probably go looking them up afterwards, which is rather the point. Every word you find links straight through to what we have written about it.
Free, no sign-up, works on a phone, and there is a fresh one waiting tomorrow.
